My garden runs on compost
I grow more than 10 fruit trees, several berry patches and an annual vegetable garden. I manage all of it with organic practices, and homemade compost is the only fertilizer I use. That means my compost has to actually work: if something breaks down badly, attracts pests or carries problems into the soil, I see it in the garden.
Why I started Compost or Not
The most common composting question is a simple one: “Can I compost this?” The answers online are often vague or contradictory, so I built a site that gives a clear verdict (Yes, Sometimes or No), the reason behind it, and how to compost the item at home. I write and check every item page, and I update pages when I find better information.
